I loved everything about this book; the plot, pacing, characters -especially the characters- and also the light BDSM theme.The BDSM theme in this book was more on the emotional side, with submission in behaviour and all being the only thing, really. There were no kinky toys or anything, so it's a good place to start if you want to try BDSM. The BDSM was actually so light I completely forgot that the book contained some of those themes until I realised that Holly's submissive behaviour was a bit too drastic for just a normal top/bottom relationship.
The characters were heartbreaking, their love was tangible and very well developed and paced.
Nick's wife was a bitch. Period.
Absolutely adored this book. Definitely recommended for those who enjoy the themes present in this book. Or even those who want to taste it. Such a lovely lovely book!
