The blurb snagged me from the start. It all sounded so very exciting and dramatic and a had a certain Lord of the Rings-esque feel.And in a lot of ways, it was.
At the very beginning, I had difficulties emersing (is that a word?) myself into the book, there was something about the writing or something that annoyed me, but as the story proceeded perhaps the writing got better or the story started moving faster but I enjoyed the book immensely.
It was all very epic and exciting, and I loved the concept of it all -- although I admit it isn't that original, but Kristen managed the pull the story off very well.
